Chibuku Products Limited, the manufacturer and distributor of opaque beer and Maheu, continues to expand its footprint. Therefore, CPL invites applications from intelligent and self-motivated persons to be recruited as Trainee Production Managers.

Suitable candidates should be graduates, preferably in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or Food Science with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position. Those with Diplomas, preferably in the aforementioned disciplines with a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in a similar position will be considered.

KEY PERFORMANCE OUTPUT
Reporting to the Operations Manager / Production Manager the Trainee Production Manager will be directly responsible for effective and efficient supervision of and control of production/packaging department to ensure maximum output with cost effective practices, compliant with brewery standard operating procedures.
The Trainee Production Manager will undergo 2 years on-the-job training program.
FUNCTIONS
Controlling costs and working within budget
Managing and motivating staff to achieve targets
Achievement Daily Production KPI’s and Productivity Targets
Driving company quality & control systems compliance as well as maintaining regulatory operating requirements
Planning of production shifts to meet daily sales demand targets.
Provide multi SKU production plans to meet business strategic plans
Managing all shift compliments to meet head count targets with strict adherence to set manpower budgets
Enforcing discipline, policy and compliance to procedure
Handling a highly demanding working environment
Supervising all production operations, safety requirements and quality control under FMCG environment
Deployment, supervision and training of staff on occupational health, safety and housekeeping
Controlling movement of stocks between sections
