Responsibilities:
Implement revenue collection policies, programs and strategies to achieve monthly revenue targets
Monitoring and supervising the performance of functions (CFE, AUDIT RPP, TSU, BMS and EFD) including support staff and ensuring set procedures and standards are adhered to
Ensuring increased taxpayer compliance through implementation of an effective taxpayer service delivery program
Providing regular assessments/ feedback on the effectiveness of revenue collection policies and procedures
Ensuring increased taxpayer compliance through implementation of an effective taxpayer service delivery program
Providing recommendations on efficient Domestic Taxes regulatory framework and best practices to Management
Conduct staff appraisals
Managing staff
Establish goals and motivate staff to achieve individual, team and MRA goals.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution: those with a Master’s degree will have an added advantage
Advanced Certificate in Income Tax / VAT Administration course
Must have a minimum of 12 years’ work experience in administration of Domestic taxes
