Grace Community Health Centre is a rural CHAM health centre located between Mvera and Salima that provides OPD and maternal services.The laboratory is a new department at GCHC.
Salary: Within the salary scale of Grade L
Accommodation: Not provided. Employee is responsible for finding accommodation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Collecting, receiving, and processing specimens
Lab machine maintenance, quality controls, and troubleshooting
Reporting results
Recording data
Generating reports
Providing technical advice
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management
On call for emergencies for nights, weekends, and holidays in rotation required
Qualifications
Certificate in Laboratory or Biomedical Science
Registration and renewal with the Medical Council
MSCE
Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience
Applicant must be available to start by 1 November 2021
