1. Electricity Generation Company (Malawi) Limited (EGENCO) carries on the business of generation of power in the Republic of Malawi and has budgeted funds to be used to procure Personal Protective Clothing and Uniform
2. The Chairman, Internal Procurement Committee now invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders to participate in the tender for Procurement of Personal Protective Clothing and Uniform as below:

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents from EGENCO’s Procurement Department at the address given in paragraph
8(a) below from 08:00 to 12:00 hrs, 13:00 to 16:00 hrs local time (Monday to Friday) from
03rd November 2021, except national public holidays.
4. Bidding will be conducted in accordance to National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the 2017 Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act, and is open to all
Bidders.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 8(b) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK5,000.00 (or equivalent). The method of payment will be through Electronic Funds Transfer. Below are the banking details:

6. There will be a Pre–Bid Conference on Tuesday, 17th November 2021 at 14.00hours at EGENCO’s Main Board Room from 14:00 hours at 8 (c) below.
7. The bids in sealed envelopes clearly marked: “EGC051/NCB/G/FY2021-22 Procurement of Personal Protective Clothing and Uniform,” shall be delivered to the address below at 8(b) at or before 14:00 hours local time on 9th December 2021 at 14:00 hours. Electronic bids will not be allowed and late bids will be rejected. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders or their representatives who may choose to attend at the address shown at 8(c) below on 9th December, 2021, 14:00 hours local time.
