INVITATION FOR BIDS
PROCUREMENT OF LEGAL SERVICES
PROCUREMENT NO. MIE/RFP/LS/2021/016
1. The Malawi Institute of Education (MIE) has budgeted public funds to be used for the procurement of provision of Legal Retainer Services for Malawi Institute of Education.
2. The Malawi Institute of Education now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the Legal Retainer Services for a three-year period (2021 -2024) for Malawi Institute of Education.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with National Competitive Bidding procedures as outlined in the Malawi Government’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (2017) and Regulations 2020 and is open to all reputable organisations in Malawi.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Malawi Institute of Education and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon request from the address below at 8(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK5,000.00 (Five thousand Kwacha) cash or bank certified cheque only.
6. The technical and financial proposals should be sealed in separate envelopes, both clearly marked with Procurement Reference Number above and bidder`s details. Both envelopes should be enclosed and sealed in one big envelope as appropriate.
7. “Request for Proposal for the provision of Legal Retainer Services for the three-year period (2021-2024) for Malawi Institute of Education. Tender No. MIE/RFP/LS/2021/016” must be delivered to the address below at 8(b) at or before 14:00 hours on 30th September,2021. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders` representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(b), 14:00 hours, on 30th September, 2021.
