Drilling of Twenty seven (27) New Boreholes in Zomba District

1. Zomba District Council has budgeted Funds under Borehole/ Water structures Funds for the implementation of various activities in the district and intends to apply part of the funds for the Drilling of 21 New Deep Boreholes under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure from eligible bidders.
2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement & Disposal of Assets Act 2017 and other regulations of the Government of the Republic of Malawi and is open to all eligible bidders.
3. The Chairperson of Zomba District Council Internal Procurement & Disposal of Assets Committee (IPDC), now invites sealed bids from prospective Bidders for the drilling of the following boreholes:

4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Zomba District Council and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8 (a) from 07:30 to 12:00hours & from 13:00 to 16:30hours, local time (Monday to Friday, except National Public Holidays).
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on request to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK15,000.00. The method of payment will be Strictly Cash.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) before Tuesday, 28th September, 2021 14:00hours local time. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration in our format.
7. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 14:00hours local time on Tuesday, 28thSeptember, 2021.
