Mary’s Meals is a global movement supported by people from all walks of life and we are focused on one goal – that every child receives a nutritious daily meal in a place of education. We continue to change the lives of over 2 million children who today will receive a Mary’s Meals. Mary’s Meals Malawi is our largest school feeding programme and reaches over 22% of the primary school aged children, in Malawi, and we work closely with schools and community volunteers who help prepare and serve the nutritious meals every school day.
Mary’s Meals is looking to place 2 interns in 2 of its departments: Programmes – Delivery and Human Resources. For 4 months, the interns will work on impactful tasks and projects and provide support to Mary’s Meals’ operations and deliver high quality deliverables. The opportunities are available as follows.
Position: Human Resources Intern

Duties
Support and coordinate induction for new recruits.
Support in ensuring employee daily attendance is monitored and reported by checking the Biometric log in reports.
Assist the HR Advisor in coordinating recruitment and selection processes. These include preparing notices and advertisements for vacant staff positions, scheduling, and organizing interviews, conducting reference checks on candidates as required and providing feedback to candidates.
Ensure record management is up to date.
Assist in coordinating staff benefits, i.e., medical insurance and pension fund management.
Any other HR duties assigned
Requirements
A fresh Graduate with a Degree in Human Resources Management obtained from an accredited university.
Good Interpersonal Communication Skills.
Computer literate in Microsoft packages, especially Excel and Word.
An energetic and self-motivated individual.
