Urgently looking for Human Resource and Administration Officer to be tenable in Blantyre.
Position: Human Resource and Administration Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain proper filing of employee personal files
Manage HR database
Maintain an up to date archiving system for all personal records
Manage and maintain staff and motor insurance records
Manage staff welfare
Maintain daily attendance records for employees
Assist in staff recruitment
Manage employee Pension scheme
Handle on Industrial Relations issues
Handle administration issues for the organization
Compile safety programs
Implement and enhance health and safe working standards
Establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees
Maintain compliance of all safety regulations at the workplace and project site
Identify hazardous waste disposal systems
Compile and maintain register for HSE occurrences
Document staff information, minutes of meetings on HSE
Regularly inspect fire and safety equipment and working areas
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Human Resources and Administration or relevant qualifications with a minimum experience of 5 years or degree with 5 years’ experience in a busy organisation
Skills and Knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e word and excel
Thorough understanding of Malawi Labour Laws
Ability to interact with staff at all levels and possess of conflict management and problem –solving skills
Must have people management technics
Must possess interpersonal skills
Must have effective organizational skills
Must have meticulous behaviour
