Expressions of interest are invited for the following value chains:

Soya
Makwacha
The delivery point for all commodities is Lilongwe. Failure to submit required documentation, allow ACE access to obtain samples for germination testing, or attempts to supply from lots not included in this EoI proposal will be immediately disqualified. Suppliers can apply for multiple lots.
The selection process will follow the below format:
1. Interested parties will submit the following information to ACE:
Business registration
Volume available for sale through this procurement process
SSU Certificates for seed lots
Documentation showing any re-grading, changes in lot numbering, or any changes which link EoI lots with SSU certificates
Official confirmation that the offered seeds will be available for ACE to receive samples to allow for germination testing to occur;
2. Once ACE has reviewed the submitted information, requests will be sent out to eligible bidders for ACE to view the stock and packaging and receive samples for in-house germination testing;
3. Following the completion of germination testing (minimum 7 days), ACE will communicate with all successful bidders a request for bids;
4. The successful bidder will be notified for delivery of seed in late October;
5. Payment will be made upon full completion of deliveries, with a retention rate (10%) to be paid once acceptable germination rates are found in the field (latest end January 2022)
