Overview
Position: Community Midwife Assistant (Grade M)
Grace Community Health Centre is a rural CHAM health centre located between Mvera and Salima that provides OPD and maternal services.
Salary: Within salary scale of Grade M
Accommodation: Not provided. Employee is responsible for finding accommodation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting patients at antenatal, postnatal, and family planning clinics
Attending to mothers at the labour, delivery, and postnatal wards.
Giving treatment and medication under clinician orders
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate midwifery care
Provide necessary care, management, and referral of patients
Manage gynecological and obstetrical problems
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management
Nights, weekends, and holidays required.
Qualifications
Certificate in Community Midwifery
Registration and renewal with the Nurses and Midwifery Council of Malawi
MSCE
Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience
