The Ministry of Education intends to recruit Auxiliary Secondary School Teachers in complementing government efforts to implement COVID 19 preventive measures.
The Ministry plans to recruit Auxiliary Teachers so as to decongest classrooms in Secondary Schools as a way of mitigating the impact of the Pandemic.
The Ministry therefore invites applications from suitably qualified Malawians in possession of a Diploma in Education or a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from recognized institutions to be considered for recruitment as Auxiliary Teachers (Grade TJ and TI) to teach in Secondary Schools for a period of five (5) months. The Auxiliary Teachers will draw a monthly allowance of K80, 000 in line with the Government Internship Programme.
The recruitment exercise will be conducted by Education Division Managers in all the six Education Division Offices in the country.
A list of all secondary schools where the auxiliary teachers will be required to work, will be displayed in all Education Division Managers’ Offices.
Interested persons are therefore requested to submit their application letters attaching copies of academic certificates, to the Education Division Manager’s Office of their choice (where they would want to teach) as follows: –
