Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain a strong financial control environment.
Prepare and distribute intercompany invoices together with supporting documents
Ensures timely settlement of all intercompany balances.
Ensure that all income lines are property accounted for in line with IFRSs and accounting polices.
Ensure all journals for posting incomes to respective general ledger accounts are accurately processed
Facilitate settlement payments/receipts of invoices ensure timely posting and correct invoice allocation.
Prepare intercompany reports in accordance with group templates.
Ensure that all income for the bank is being captured completely and accurately in the general ledger.
Perform end-to-end revenue reconciliations for all service lines and follows up on all issues identified.
Ensure that all billable products and services are duty invoiced, and receivables thereof are timely collected
Balance sheet substantiation
Ensure correct baling of all products and services by comparing system charges with the price list.
Follow up with relevant people on all product and service lines performing below budget
Risk Management.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of IFRSs and changes in local and international financial reporting regulations
Knowledge of internal control environment.
Excel for transaction analysis and any Accounting System.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Accountancy
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
4 years experience in Financial Accounting, Reporting, or related area at senor level
Audit/bank experience.
