MyBucks donates to Fimda, IPMM

MyBucks Banking Corporation recently contributed K2.5 million towards Financial Market Dealers Association (Fimda) and the Institute of People Management (IPM) Malawi annual conferences.

Of the amount, Fimda, which hosts its indaba next week, was given K1.5 million while IPMM got K1 million.

MyBucks Head of Corporate Banking Division Andrew Zainga said the bank was committed to supporting Fimda as its contribution to the financial sector remains eminent

“We always appreciate the role that the institution [Fimda] plays in the country’s financial sector,” Zainga said.

Fimda General Secretary Chikondi Mkutu thanked the bank for the support, saying the contribution would make a difference.

And speaking during the symbolic cheque handover to IPMM, Mybucks Head of Retail and SME Banking Mayamiko Kalizang’oma said the support would go towards Human Resources (HR) practitioners’ development.

IPPM President Godwin Sam Ng’oma said the indaba would be an ideal platform for discussing change management, among other things.

It would be held under the theme ‘Embracing Professionalism, Ethical Behaviour and Integrity in Human Resource Management Practice in the Changing World”.
